I Love you

TGIF!!!! Thanks God its FRIDAY!!!! How happy is Friday!!! Its going to be a long weekend for me as in Singapore has a public holiday which is a labour day that falls on Sat. Hence Monday is a holiday ūüôā So happy! Today’s card is a bright and cheerful card using My Little Shoe Box paper – Imagine a Forest – Get the camera. These paper are from last year and they are so colorful and adorable isn’t it!?! Loving all the paper range! Its make the card so cheerful and bright.

I decided to do a circle card for the first time using Hawaiian Shore and die cut¬†2 scallop shape using Large Circle Spellbinders. ¬†And adhere them together to make up the card base. Afterwhich¬†I get the Lemon Tart paper and die cut the circle shape and embossed it with Papertrey¬†Polka dot Impression plate.¬† I have hand cut My little Shoe box paper – the clouds, the trees and the most adorable squirrels!!!!! Add the heart shape pearls from Hero Arts. Lastly stamped on I and U on the clouds for my wording on the card. ūüôā This card makes me happy!!!

This card is used for these challenges:

Just a little something

Another photo challenge from Melissa Phillips  Рloving the orange and purple combination. Its a unqiue color which I will not normally use. Here is my take:

I have make the flowers from the tracing paper when the papertrey package arrived to protect your package. First I spray the tracing paper with Tattered Angels Glimmer mist and let dried. Then I have cut them from Spellbinders scallop circle medium size about 12 of them and layer them up to get the flower. I love the effect of the flower do flowy and soft.

For today tutorial of the flower, you can refer to Cosmo Cricket. I am loving flowers¬† as they can be the best embellishment for any cards that you made. Its just¬†stand out on your project be it scrapbooking , project or cards! ūüôā

Thats all from me for this Monday!

See you next week….

Bicycle Card

Hello Here I am with another card this week, it’s a¬†yellow card so bright and cheerful! This bicycle is another image from Papertrey¬†ink – everyday button series. I stamp on the rustic cream cardstock and add-on¬†the colorful button for its tyres.¬† I got the phase : ” Life is like riding a Bicycle in order to keep your balance you must keep moving”. from the website. I find that it’s so meaningful for the image .

This is the first time that I use my own hand-writing to write the phase. I got a bit¬†apprehended¬†as my handwriting will ruin the card. So it turns out quite okay. I must practice to write with my handwriting more often! Its add some personal touch to the card ūüôā

Tell me what you think? I am still trying to find my style. More cards to come on this button series as I am loving this set!

Thanks for looking.
