Day 6: Tokyo Tower & Ginza; Odaiba


Hello New year eve 31st, 2009. Today is the last day of 2010. I have been on Tokyo Tower in the morning ๐Ÿ™‚

the view from bottom of the Tokyo Tower:

We went in and bought our ticket at around noon, there is a long quene waiting to go up the Tokyo Tower and since its the new year eve, there is a display in the middle of the waiting quene. Can you see the miniture tokyo tower on the right side lighted up?

Hence when the first stop, its the view of Ginza:

Here is the interesting part: where there is a look-down window and able to see the scenery below. As you can see, it always crowding with curious kids whoย are not scared to looking through it. The next pic show how it will look like below. Very interesting that they are not scared of heights!

After that when its time to go down, It quening time again !

When I am inside the lift, I managed to capture the lift top, its very interesting shape:

I managed to find out that the figure that I am taking photo with is the younger brother of the Tokyo Tower ๐Ÿ™‚

On the back to the subway, we managed to find a park with autmun trees during winter! What a surprise!

After that we head down to Ginza –ย Tokyo‘s most famous upmarket shopping, dining and entertainment district, featuring numerous department stores, boutiques, art galleries, restaurants, night clubs and cafes.

Can you see the date and clock in the pillar ? I was there in Tokyo at Ginza on 31st Dec 2009 @4.02pm ๐Ÿ™‚

In the subway, we seen this enormous instant mee display:

At night, we took the shuttle bus from the hotel to Odaibaย @ around 7pm: This is the rainbow bridge with the tokyo tower at the background:

Get to seeee the Liberty in Japan instead of USA ๐Ÿ™‚
